Can the LMS support different learning formats?

WebMentor LMS^™ supports web-based courses in many different content formats by virtue of its course plugin technology. By default, we support courses published in SCORM and AICC formats, as well Avilar’s proprietary WebMentor format. Plugins for other course formats can be added at additional cost. And Avilar is continually monitoring emerging standards in e-learning to stay current with evolving industry standards and practices.

Does the LMS integrate with other tools?

Yes. WebMentor LMS^™ provides a web services applications programming interface (API) that other web-based products may use to invoke LMS functions. This includes functions for creating and deleting learner accounts, registering learners into courses and removing them from courses, retrieving course completion status and grades, and much more.
